50–100mm (approximately 2–4 inches) washed round rock, also known as large river rock or washed river stone, is a versatile landscaping aggregate prized for its size, natural appearance, and superior drainage. It is typically cleaned of dirt, dust, and fine particles, providing a bright, attractive finish for both decorative and functional outdoor projects.

This rock works well as a decorative ground cover, adding texture and visual interest to garden beds. It is ideal for lining pond bottoms, creating artificial streams, or enhancing fountains and water walls with its smooth, natural look. It is also commonly used to build dry riverbeds, offering an organic aesthetic while helping to control water flow. Additionally, 50–100mm river rock is highly effective for erosion control on slopes, in drainage areas, and around downspouts to prevent soil loss and pooling. It can be used to form striking borders around trees, shrubs, and walkways, or to cover larger areas such as the sides of homes.
