30-65mm Limestone

Description

30–65mm (1¼”–2½”) limestone is a large, angular crushed rock ideal for heavy-duty landscaping, high-permeability applications, and decorative projects. It is commonly used for erosion control in drainage swales, dry creek beds, large garden bed borders, and as a stable, low-maintenance decorative ground cover. It also serves as a strong base layer for artificial turf.

This limestone provides a durable and visually striking ground cover, often creating a modern, high contrast look in garden beds, especially when paired with materials like black mulch or white rock. Its large, sharp-edged, and porous composition makes it effective for French drains, culverts, and managing water flow in steep or exposed areas. It is also used as a heavy-duty fill or to stabilize base layers in landscaping projects. Ideal for dry creek beds, pond edges, and other large-scale landscape features, it combines both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Although sometimes referred to as washed, these rocks typically retain dust from crushing, quarrying, and transport. They can be washed before or after installation or left in place to be naturally cleaned by rainfall over time.
