Description
20–30mm limestone is a versatile, angular, crushed aggregate, often exhibiting a blue-grey hue, widely used in landscaping for durable pathways, garden edging, and decorative ground cover. Its excellent compaction and drainage properties make it suitable for sub-bases, under artificial turf, and as a stable, mud-free foundation for heavy-use, non-vehicular areas.
This limestone is ideal for flower beds, garden borders, and walkable surfaces such as paths and patios. It works well as a base layer under patios, shed pads, or other areas requiring a stable, well-drained surface. It is also effective for soak ways, ditch fill, and as a reliable material for leveling and supporting artificial turf.
Although often described as washed, these rocks typically retain dust from crushing, quarrying, and transport. They can be washed before or after spreading or simply left in place to be naturally cleaned by rainfall over time.
