Description

Radon Rock, also known as 13-20mm or 3/4″ drainage/ screened rock, is a tan-grey crushed aggregate commonly used in construction and drainage applications. Its open, free-draining structure allows air and moisture to move easily through the material, making it ideal for sub-slab, foundation, and basement drainage layers. One of its key functions is supporting radon gas mitigation by allowing gases to flow freely beneath structures and be safely vented away, reducing the risk of accumulation. This material is typically installed beneath concrete slabs, foundations, and basements to promote effective ventilation and moisture control. Its excellent permeability also makes it well suited for drainage around foundations, landscaping applications, and even rooftop drainage systems.
