10-20mm Limestone

Description

10–20mm limestone is a versatile, angular, and highly compactable aggregate commonly used in landscaping, construction, and drainage projects. Its applications include creating stable bases for patios and artificial turf, building durable driveways and pathways, and adding decorative, low-maintenance ground cover, valued for its neutral grey color.

This limestone works well for garden paths, walkways, and planter beds, providing a clean, weed-suppressing surface. Its angular, interlocking shape makes it an excellent sub-base for artificial turf, paver patios, and walkways. It compacts tightly, making it ideal for driveways and parking pads, while its porous, permeable nature supports efficient drainage for French drains and backfill to prevent soil erosion. It is also used in concrete mixes, surface dressings, and various construction projects.

Although often called washed, these rocks typically retain dust from crushing, quarrying, and transport. They can be washed before or after spreading or simply left in place to be naturally cleaned by rainfall over time.
